Carmen Watson

Carmen Watson is an experienced care coordinator at Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare, specializing in providing support and resources to individuals with mental health and substance use concerns in the Emergency Department. Since September 2022, Carmen has focused on connecting these individuals to lower levels of care to prevent re-admittance. Previously, Carmen served as an Intake Specialist and Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate at Micah's Place from January 2022 to August 2022, where responsibilities included operating the domestic violence hotline and conducting intakes for women and children seeking emergency shelter. Carmen is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of North Florida, expected to graduate in May 2024, following the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the same institution in December 2021.
