Laura Thissen is currently the Managing Director at StartLife, where Laura drives innovation in the food & ag sector by supporting startups, corporates, and investors. Laura also holds the role of Operations Director at StartLife, overseeing team management, business partnerships, finance, and impact strategy. In addition, Laura is a Steering Committee Member at F&A Next and in charge of MT Value Creation at Wageningen University & Research. With a background in business development, project management, and international consultancy, Laura has a wealth of experience in diverse sectors such as energy, environment, finance, and trade promotion. Laura holds multiple degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry & Biophysics, and International Affairs.
