Sebastiaan Berendse

Sebastiaan Berendse is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation and value creation in academia and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Corporate Director for Value Creation at Wageningen University & Research since March 2017, Sebastiaan also holds various leadership roles, including Chairperson of the Board at StartLife, a national startup accelerator, and board member for University Fund Wageningen. With a background in overseeing advisory and supervisory boards related to innovation and investment in the agri-food sector, Sebastiaan has contributed significantly to knowledge transfer initiatives within Dutch universities. An alumnus of several prestigious institutions, including Erasmus University Rotterdam, Sebastiaan is committed to advancing public-private partnerships and entrepreneurship to promote growth and technological advancements in circular economy and food technology.
