Gonzalo Ortiz Jaureguizar

Gonzalo Ortiz Jaureguizar has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development.

Gonzalo is currently working as a Performance Engineer at StarTree since May 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at Devo from July 2017 to May 2022 as an Engineer Software. In this role, they were responsible for researching and implementing new offheap Java data structures replicated on several nodes. Gonzalo worked on a company that creates their own SQL but not relational database focused on ingesting and analyzing large amounts of data.

Before joining Devo, Gonzalo worked as a Lead Developer at 8Kdata from March 2014 to July 2017.

Gonzalo also served as a Technical Consultant at ETH Zurich from September 2012 to February 2014.

Gonzalo's work experience also includes positions at IMDEA Software Institute and Universidad Complutense de Madrid. At IMDEA Software Institute, they worked as a Programmer from July 2011 to September 2012, where they designed and developed new programming languages for building secure web applications. Gonzalo also had a role as a Junior Programmer from February 2010 to June 2011.

As an intern at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, they worked as a Web Developer from September 2009 to December 2009. In this role, they created a web application using PHP and integrated it with a Prolog layer of PET, a research project that decompiles Java bytecode and generates test cases.

Gonzalo Ortiz Jaureguizar began their education in 2005 at Complutense de Madrid. Gonzalo pursued a Bachelor on Physical degree in the field of Ingeniería informática; however, they were unable to complete this degree, as they left the program in 2006. In the same year, Gonzalo enrolled in Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they successfully completed a degree in Computer Engineering from 2006 to 2011.
