Xiaotian (Jackie) Jiang

Xiaotian (Jackie) Jiang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Xiaotian began their career as a Competitor at Tsinghua University in 2011, where they designed an intelligent robot. They then interned at Huawei Technologies in 2013, where they tested advanced switches. Xiaotian continued their education at Tsinghua University and the University of Toronto, working as a student researcher and research assistant respectively. During this time, they focused on projects involving network data mining and traffic flow through datacenters.

In 2015, Xiaotian joined Pure Storage as a Summer Intern, where they worked on visualizing system performance reports. They utilized Python and Ember to create a visualization web page. They then moved on to roles at LinkedIn, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming a Senior Software Engineer and later a Staff Software Engineer.

In 2018, Xiaotian joined The Apache Software Foundation, serving as an Apache Pinot PMC & Committer. Recently, in 2020, they became a Founding Engineer at StarTree.

Xiaotian (Jackie) Jiang's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at Tsinghua University. Xiaotian (Jackie) pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, completing their studies in 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, they then attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2014 to 2015, pursuing a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
