Logan Plaster's work experience includes roles at various companies. Logan started working at The Cecil Whig as a Reporter in 2003, where they covered daily features and wrote stories about small town life. In 2004, they were an Editorial Intern at Runner's World. From 2005 to 2018, they worked as a Managing Editor and Creative Director at Emergency Physicians Monthly, shaping its content. In 2010, they founded and served as the Publisher of Emergency Physicians International, which focuses on emergency medicine development. Starting in 2012, Logan was the CEO and Co-Founder of Portmanteau Media LLC. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Writer for Quartz, contributing to a series about the Kumbh Mela. In 2015, they became the Editor in Chief and Creative Director at Telemedicine Magazine, connecting healthcare providers with med-tech professionals. From 2018 to the present, they have been the Chief Content Officer at StartUp Health, a media platform that shares stories about the future of healthcare.
Logan Plaster obtained their Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University, where they attended from 2000 to 2005. Later, in 2009, they pursued a Master of Science (incomplete) in Publishing at New York University, which they completed in 2010.
