Rafael Lopez Schietekat

Rafael Lopez Schietekat has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rafael is currently the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Diagnostikare, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Sales Strategy & Ops Manager for CWS at Carphone Warehouse from March 2017 to November 2018. Before that, they were the Strategy & Development Manager at Dixons Travel from December 2015 to March 2017, where they played a key role in developing and executing a three-year strategy for the company. Rafael also worked as an MBA Consultant at Lloyds Banking Group from July 2015 to September 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Management Consultant at EY Consulting from January 2010 to August 2014, where they delivered various engagements for multinational corporations and government entities. Rafael also gained international experience through a rotation program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Rafael's earlier roles include a position as a Service Delivery Analyst at Chevron from 2009 to 2010 and an internship in IT Operations at Heidrick & Struggles from 2006 to 2009. Currently, they are a Health Transformer at StartUp Health, starting in November 2021.

Rafael Lopez Schietekat has a diverse education history. In 2005, they enrolled at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Systems Engineering. Rafael completed their undergraduate studies in 2009.

Afterwards, in 2014, Rafael decided to further their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Bath. Rafael completed their MBA in 2015, specializing in General Management. During the same year, Rafael also participated in the MBA Exchange Program at Tsinghua University.

Following their MBA, Rafael pursued further education in entrepreneurial finance at City, University of London in 2017. Rafael completed a diploma program in this field.

In 2018, Rafael attended INSEAD for an Executive Education program focused on Strategy - Digital Transformation & Innovation. This program lasted for one year.

Looking ahead, in 2022, Rafael will be attending MassChallenge where they plan to further their expertise in the field of MCMX 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Rafael has also obtained additional certifications. In 2022, they completed the Open Water Diver certification from SSI Scuba Schools International.
