Shireen Abdullah, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. ✔️ Shireen is currently the CEO of Yumlish, where they utilize artificial intelligence to provide nutrition therapy that considers cultural nuances, family dynamics, and affordability. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Healthcare Member at Nashville Entrepreneur Center and as a Health Transformer at StartUp Health. Shireen has also been recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit and received the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award from the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. ✔️ Shireen has spoken at SXSW and served as a Founders Committee Member at Brazen Global. In their earlier career, they worked as a Senior Management Consultant at ARCADIS, a Senior Financial Analyst at Aga Khan Academy, and Ismaili Council for USA, and as the Finance Director at the City of Wallis. Throughout their career, Shireen has demonstrated expertise in executive leadership, project management, and financial analysis.
Shireen Abdullah, MBA, PMP completed their undergraduate degree in Information Systems Technology at the University of Houston. ✔️ Shireen then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Project Management from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business.
In addition to their formal education, Shireen Abdullah has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the "Driving Business Results with Big Data" certification from SAP, the "Public-Private Partnerships (PPP): How can PPPs help deliver better services?" certification from the World Bank Group, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
