Desire Kaleba

Desire Kaleba is a Lead Software Engineer at StartupBlink, with extensive experience in software development using a variety of technologies, including TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS. Desire has successfully led the development and maintenance of a monorepo with Turborepo while migrating legacy JavaScript scripts to modern TypeScript packages. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Software Developer at Entendre Finance, where a monorepo backend was built from scratch, and as a NodeJS Mentor, enhancing the skills of over 1800 budding developers. Desire's project contributions have consistently led to significant improvements in efficiency and performance, showcasing a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage technical standards.
