Veronica Tappe

Veronica Tappe, SHRM-SCP, serves as the Director of People at TalkingPoints, an education technology nonprofit focused on enhancing family engagement in children's education. Hand-selected by the President, Veronica is the first and most senior human resources employee in the organization, leading initiatives such as the development of a comprehensive compensation framework and a recruitment strategy that significantly increased team size during rapid expansion. Prior experience includes roles at GreatSchools.org, where responsibilities encompassed managing culture and operations while modernizing HR systems, and serving as Executive Assistant to the CEO at both GreatSchools.org and PLAiR Media Inc. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Southern Oregon University and a certificate in Human Resources Management from California State University - East Bay.
