Awad Sayeed

Awad Sayeed has extensive experience in technology and product development, currently serving as a Mentor at StartX since December 2014, where advisory support is provided to early-stage startups. From May 2023 to September 2024, Awad held the position of VP Commerce Cloud at Emplifi, focusing on creating a unified product suite to enhance brand commerce through social media. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Product Officer at Pixlee TurnTo from June 2012 to May 2023, overseeing product integration following the merger of Pixlee and TurnTo and managing a team of 50 professionals. Awad also contributed as COO at Pixlee, facilitating expansion across multiple countries, and as CTO and Co-Founder, initiating the development of the Pixlee platform. Earlier roles included consulting as a Software Architect from June 2008 to June 2012, providing diverse software solutions, and an internship at Merrill Lynch in 2008. Awad Sayeed graduated from Baruch College in 2012 and attended Brooklyn Technical High School from 2004 to 2008.
