Matthew Follent is an experienced professional in the beverage and events industry, currently serving as an Ambassador at New World Whisky Distillery since March 2020, focusing on advocacy and education. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an Event Manager at Sweet&Chilli Ltd from October 2018 to March 2020, where efforts were centered on enhancing event experiences through expert drink services. Earlier experience includes a position as Head Bartender at Bar 1806 from January 2015 to October 2017, where responsibilities encompassed drink development, staff training, and enhancing customer experiences. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Deakin University, earned between 2012 and 2016.
