Faisal A.

Faisal A. has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Faisal is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering and General Manager (Pakistan) at STARZPLAY, a role they began in January 2021. Prior to that, Faisal held various positions at Altair Technologies, including Vice President of Engineering and General Manager. In this role, they managed a team of 50 people involved in software development and managed IT services. Faisal also oversaw the development of OTT streaming applications for different platforms and was involved in project proposal development, project planning and management, client interaction, and software design. Additionally, Faisal has served as a Research Assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences and as a Senior Design Engineer at Quartics, working on DSP and communication algorithms.

Faisal A. obtained an MS in Computer Engineering from the Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2003 to 2005. Faisal completed their B.E. in Computer Systems at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued Pre-Engineering at F.G.
