Francis Guyette

Medical Director at STAT MedEvac

Francis Guyette has worked at the University of Pittsburgh since 2013. Francis began as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine in June 2013 and was promoted to Professor of Emergency Medicine in September 2021. Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh, they served as the Medical Director at STAT MedEvac starting in March 2011.

Francis Guyette's education history begins in 1993 when they attended William & Mary and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1995. Following this, they attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from 1995 to 1997 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Cell Biology. Subsequently, Guyette enrolled at Tulane University, where they pursued a Doctor of Medicine degree from 1997 to 2001. Finally, they completed their education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health from 2004 to 2006, earning a Master of Public Health degree.
