Zaur Allahverdiyev

Zaur Allahverdiyev is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head Advisor and Senior Consultant at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan since August 2016. Expertise includes analyzing cybersecurity vulnerabilities, researching industry trends, and implementing information security controls. Zaur possesses strong knowledge in threat hunting, Windows and Linux internals, common attack vectors, and malware types. Additionally, Zaur has experience as a Consultant for The World Bank, conducting a review of the Azerbaijan Smart Villages Program, and previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Zaur holds advanced degrees in Cybersecurity and Technology Policy and Management from various reputable institutions, including Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and Syracuse University's Maxwell School.
