David Lopez, MBA, CFE, has extensive experience in law enforcement and asset protection. Currently serving as an Investigator at the State Attorney's Office in Florida's 10th Judicial Circuit since June 2021, David previously held the position of Sergeant and Economic Crimes Detective at Polk County Sheriff's Office for 16 years. In these roles, David managed large-scale investigations, implemented efficient operational improvements, and trained detectives to meet agency goals. Earlier experience includes serving as an Asset Protection Specialist at Target, where David led a team to reduce theft and provided security training. David holds an MBA in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from the University of South Florida and a B.S. in Aerospace Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
