Joel Selik

Joel Selik is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in legal malpractice, medical malpractice, and various types of litigation. Serving as a Fee Dispute Mediator and Arbitrator for the San Diego County Bar Association Fee Dispute Program since January 2024, Joel Selik also holds the distinction of being Nevada’s first Certified Specialist in Legal Malpractice, a title obtained from the State Bar of Nevada since November 2017. In addition to ongoing roles as a Fee Dispute Mediator and Arbitrator in both California and Nevada, Joel Selik has been an attorney with Selik Law Offices since August 1989, focusing on a wide array of legal issues. Joel Selik has held board member positions with organizations such as the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the North County Bar Association, further demonstrating a commitment to the legal community. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Golden Gate University School of Law.
