Larry Martin

Larry Martin is the current Executive Director at State Bar of Wisconsin. Prior to this position, they served as the Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin from July 1997 to August 1998. Under their leadership, membership increased by 21.5% and Larry was able to eliminate a $67,000 debt in just eight months. Larry also served as the Member Services Director at State Bar of Wisconsin from June 2011 to November 2014. In this role, they were responsible for managing eleven employees and all party communications. Additionally, they served as the Director of External Relations/Senior Advisor at the Office of the Governor from February 2009 to January 2011. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of external relations, including media relations and community outreach. Larry began their career as an Executive Assistant/Legislative Liaison (3rd Ranking Official at Department) at The Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing in July 2005.

Larry Martin received their Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Political Science and Theirtory. Larry then pursued graduate work in Public Policy and Administration from the Robert M. LaFollette Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
