Maryam Jamali is an experienced educator with a strong background in English instruction at various academic levels. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of English at State Center Community College District since January 2018, Maryam has developed curricula, facilitated workshops, and assessed both student and instructor performances in entry-level English courses. Prior to this role, Maryam worked at California State University, Fresno, where positions included University 20 English Instructor and Director for the Upward Bound Program, contributing to curriculum development and team leadership. Additional experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Writing Center Tutor at CSU, Fresno, further established Maryam's expertise in teaching reading and writing principles. Maryam's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Master of Arts in Composition Theory, both obtained from California State University, Fresno.
