Sara Deasy

Sara Deasy currently serves as the Department Chair at Fresno City College since August 2021 and has been an integral part of the State Center Community College District as a Photography Instructor and Adjunct Professor since September 2016, teaching photography, Adobe software, graphic design, and art history. Additionally, Sara has been a Teaching Associate at Fresno State since August 2015, responsible for lecturing, maintaining student records, evaluating assignments, and providing tutoring and research assistance. As the owner of DC Photography since December 2006, Sara combines entrepreneurial experience with academic expertise. Previous experience includes serving as the Office Coordinator for Blue Haven Pools & Spas from 2003 to 2009. Sara holds a Master of Arts in Psychoanalysis of Art through Photography from California State University-Fresno, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Art History, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from the same institution.
