State College Spikes Baseball
Michelle Spaide has extensive experience in the food service and event management sectors, currently serving as a Patisserie Finisher at Wegman's Food Market State College since March 2002. Concurrently, Michelle has held the role of Operations Staff Assistant and Team Member at the Bryce Jordan Center since August 2001, where responsibilities included managing food and beverage operations and staff training. Additionally, since June 2011, Michelle has worked as a Stand Manager for the State College Spikes Baseball, overseeing game day functions and staff. Since October 2013, Michelle has contributed to event management at Pegula Ice Arena-Penn State University, assisting with various game day tasks. Michelle holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Penn State University, graduated in 2003.
State College Spikes Baseball
The State College Spikes is a founding member of he MLB Draft League. The team's stadium is located in State College, PA, and called Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, which is located across the street from Penn State's Beaver Stadium. The Spikes are operated on a year-round business.
