Denise J.

Denise J. has had a diverse work experience in facility and operations management. Denise is currently working at State Compensation Insurance Fund as the Vice President of Facilities and Operations. Prior to that, they worked at CalSTRS as a Building Operations Manager, where they oversaw the maintenance and operation of their facilities and managed the CalSTRS Sustainability Program. Before that, they were a Products Management Specialist at the California Prison Industry Authority, where they focused on sustainability in manufacturing and product releases. Denise also has experience as a Facilities Analyst at the California State Lottery, where they managed and maintained multiple buildings, handled leasing and construction projects, and served as the Safety Officer.

Denise J. obtained a Certificate in Project Management in 2013 from California State University-Sacramento. Denise also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Brandman University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Interior Design from Pikes Peak State College. In 2014, they obtained additional certifications in LEED Green Associate from USGBC / GBCI, Basic Acquisition Certification from the State of California Department of General Services, and OSHA #5119 - Cal/OSHA Standards for General Industry from OSHA.
