Monika Maier

Monika Maier is an experienced Loss Prevention Manager at the State Compensation Insurance Fund since July 2017, where responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations across various industries in Northern California. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Safety Engineer at Cal OSHA, focusing on health and safety issues, and a Senior Loss Control/Safety Consultant at the State Compensation Insurance Fund, where strategic risk reduction initiatives were developed. Monika has also trained groups on various safety topics and led safety committees to reduce workplace injuries. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a focus on Agriculture and Community Leadership Development, as well as studies in languages, music, and sports at other institutions.
