Townley Venters

Townley Venters, MPA, currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Communications at SECU since October 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Communications at North Carolina's Electric Cooperatives from April 2023 to October 2025, and Corporate Communications Manager at Aspida from January 2022 to April 2023. Townley Venters also held the positions of Corporate Social Responsibility & Communications Manager and Brand Communications Specialist at the North Carolina Education Lottery between December 2016 and December 2021. Earlier experience comprises serving as Director of Public Affairs at Pamlico Community College from June 2015 to December 2016. Townley Venters earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Presbyterian College.
