Sara Brennan

Sara Brennan is an accomplished attorney with a focus on environmental, land use, and municipal law. Currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alaska since December 2022, Sara previously held positions as a Municipal, Land Use, and Water Law Attorney at Carmichael Clark, P.S., and as a Real Estate and Land Use Attorney at Hathaway Larson LLP. Earlier experience includes roles as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Alaska Court System and various law clerk positions at the Seattle City Attorney's Office and the Oregon Department of Justice, where Sara specialized in litigation support and environmental law. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Oregon School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Dartmouth College.
