Dan Bragg, CPA, CMPE

Dan Bragg, CPA, CMPE has over 20 years of experience in various financial and administrative roles. Dan currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer at State of Franklin Healthcare Associates since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) from August 2020 to December 2022 and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from October 2015 to August 2020 at the same organization.

Before joining State of Franklin Healthcare Associates, Dan was a Partner at PHD Properties starting in 2005. Dan also founded and served as the President of Bragg & Co CPAs since January 2002.

Dan has also been involved in nonprofit organizations, serving as a Board Member and Past President of CASA of Northeast TN from October 2010 to September 2016. Dan has also held key financial and administrative positions at East Tennessee Brain and Spine Center, EcoQuest International, ETSU Physicians & Associates, Mountain States Health Alliance, and Wellmont Health System.

Through their diverse work experience, Dan has developed strong financial and leadership skills, making him a valuable asset in financial and administrative roles.

Dan Bragg, CPA, CMPE, completed their education at East Tennessee State University from 1990 to 1994. Dan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accountancy. Prior to that, they attended University High School from 1986 to 1990.

In addition to their educational background, Dan Bragg has obtained several certifications. Dan became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in June 2005, certified by the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy. Furthermore, in March 2013, they earned the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) certification from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Dan also achieved Board Certification through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (CMPE) from MGMA in October 2013.
