Debbie Kim Morikawa

Debbie Kim Morikawa currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Health-Health Resources Administration in the State of Hawaii, overseeing various divisions related to health promotion, disease control, and emergency medical services. Since June 2017, Debbie has also been the owner of GYMGUYZ Urban Honolulu, offering personalized in-home fitness training. Prior experience includes a consulting role in business management and a significant tenure as the Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development at HawkTree International, where management of human resource functions for multiple companies was performed. As Director of the Department of Community Services for the City & County of Honolulu, oversight of a multi-million budget and comprehensive social services was conducted. Other notable roles include Vice President at Lanakila Pacific, Executive Director positions at The Ponds at Punaluu and the Institute for Human Services, and an instructor at Kapi'olani Community College. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis.
