Leticia Pickens

Leticia Pickens, MPPA, currently serves as Deputy Director at the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget for the State of Illinois since September 2023. Prior to this role, Leticia spent nearly nine years with the Illinois State Board of Education, holding positions including State Funding & Forecasting Supervisor, Senior Policy Advisor, and Policy Advisor. Leticia's earlier experience includes a managerial role at Deloitte Tax, LLP in Global Employer Services and consulting at Paragon Relocation Resources. Leticia also completed an internship with the U.S. Department of Commerce. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
