Nathan Bach

Nathan Bach currently serves as an Associate Judge for the State of Illinois, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Nathan served as the Chief Public Defender for Peoria County Government from September 2017 to February 2023. Nathan's legal career includes experience as an Associate Attorney at Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen from September 2013 to September 2017, and as a Judicial Clerk for the U.S. Government from April 2011 to August 2013. Nathan began in the legal field as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Peoria County State's Attorney's Office from January 2008 to April 2011. Nathan holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Saint Louis University and a BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
