Robert J. Steffen

Robert J. Steffen is an experienced attorney and owner of Steffen Law, P.C. since April 2000, specializing in Residential Real Estate transactions and Criminal Law. In addition to this role, Robert has served as a Property Tax Appeal Board Member and Judge for the State of Illinois since March 2004. Robert has extensive experience as a Title Agent with several organizations, including Fidelity National Title, Attorneys' Title Guaranty Fund, First American Title, Chicago Title Insurance Company, and Baird & Warner. Prior to these roles, Robert was an Assistant State's Attorney at the Kane County State's Attorney's Office from December 1992 to March 2000. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and courses in German at the Goethe-Institut.
