Teresa Reyes currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for the State of Illinois since December 2022. Previously, Teresa held various key roles including Senior Advisor to Lt Governor Juliana Stratton and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Lieutenant Governor Stratton from January 2019 to December 2021. Teresa also was involved in Latino Outreach as the Director and served as Latino Affairs Coordinator during the JB for Governor Transition Team. In addition to political outreach, Teresa has experience with the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce as Director and served as an Executive Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Teresa's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Chicago State University.
