Elizabeth Nitzel

Elizabeth Nitzel, MS, CRC, has extensive experience in vocational rehabilitation and workforce development. Currently serving as a Statewide Business Consultant at MDOL BRS DVR since September 2021, Nitzel acts as a liaison for businesses, offering resources such as Disability Etiquette Trainings and support for recruitment and retention. In addition, Nitzel has held the position of Manager for the Transition Work-Based Learning Grant with the State of Maine since May 2017, focusing on partnerships between businesses and students to enhance career exploration and workforce readiness. Nitzel's background includes work as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor since April 2017 and a solid educational foundation with degrees in Psychology from Marist College and a Graduate degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Southern Maine.
