Mahmoud Hassan

Mahmoud Hassan is an experienced language professional with a diverse background in linguistic consultancy and community engagement. Currently serving as a Somali Language Consultant at Global Intermix since October 2018, Mahmoud also co-owns Maine Language Connect, a position held since February 2018. As President of the Somali Community Center of Maine since 2015, Mahmoud has demonstrated leadership in community service. Additionally, Mahmoud has been involved with the State of Maine as a Court Interpreter and has contributed to the City of Portland as a Parent/Community Specialist since 2008, showcasing a commitment to bridging communication gaps and supporting the Somali community.
