Robert Porter

Robert Porter serves as the Substance Use Disorder Programs Manager for the State of Maine since May 2022 and has been the Diversion Program Manager at Volunteers of America Northern New England since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as Community Liaison at Waldo County Sheriff’s Office/Volunteers of America Northern New England and OHH Substance Use Counselor at Sequel Youth and Family Services. Robert also worked as an Adult Case Manager at Graham Behavioral Services and held positions in crisis management and outreach at various organizations. An educational background includes a currently pursued Graduate Certificate in Public Health from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Human Services from the University of Maine at Augusta.
