Jennifer Spangler

Jennifer Spangler has a diverse background in public administration and budget management, currently serving as Budget Team Lead/Supervisor and Principal Budget Analyst at the State of Maryland since June 2019. In this role, Jennifer supports the Department of Budget and Management in providing effective and fiscally sound government services. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Budget Analyst and Operating Budget Analyst at DBM, and working as a Graduate Fellow in Communications and Advocacy at the National Alliance for Caregiving, where Jennifer managed communications and advocacy strategies. Additionally, Jennifer has worked as a Legal Assistant at Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, PLC, and held positions with the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on State and Local Financial Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Government and Politics and Criminology from the University of Maryland.
