Michelle Matthews

Michelle Matthews is an experienced professional currently serving as the Show-Me-Heroes Director for the State of Missouri since July 2015, where responsibilities include engaging employers to hire veterans and collaborating with various military organizations to connect veterans with employment opportunities. Previously, Michelle Matthews held the position of Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Army and worked as a Local Employment Veterans Representative at the Department of Economic Development-State of Missouri. Additional experience includes roles such as Director of Training and Volunteers at the Crime Victim Advocacy Center, Court Advocate for St. Louis County, and Organizer for Obama for America. Michelle Matthews holds a Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from St. Louis University.
