Kristen Brown

Kristen Brown is an experienced professional in the field of architectural history and preservation, currently serving as the Comstock Preservation & History Officer, Certified Local Government Coordinator, and National Register Coordinator for the State of Nevada since June 2016. Prior roles include CLG Coordinator at the Texas Historical Commission, Architectural Historian at SWCA Environmental Consultants, and Statewide Survey Coordinator and Section 106 Reviewer at the Texas Historical Commission. Beginning in May 2006, Kristen also worked as an Architectural Historian for Preservation Central, Inc. Kristen holds a Master of Arts in Architectural History from The University of Texas at Austin and a certificate in Building Preservation from Belmont Technical College, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Art History & Creative Writing from Stephens College.
