Ben Mahon

Ben Mahon, CFA, CAIA, is a seasoned professional in the investment sector with extensive experience managing alternative investments. Since June 2008, Ben has served as the Senior Alternatives Investment Officer at Oregon State Treasury, where the primary responsibility includes overseeing and managing the Oregon Public Employee Retirement Fund (OPERF) Alternatives Portfolio, which amounts to $8.9 billion in real assets and $4 billion in other alternatives. Prior to this role, Ben held various positions, including Investment Officer at R.V. Kuhns & Associates from June 2004 to May 2008, and has foundational experience as a Research Associate and Investment/Quantitative Analyst. Ben earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Linfield University between 2000 and 2004.
