Carl Watson

Carl Watson is an experienced electronic publishing design specialist currently employed at the State of Oregon since August 2024. Previously, Carl served as a frontend developer at Gravity Works Design & Development from March 2020 to June 2024 and held the position of web developer at SURFACE 51 for a short period in early 2020. Carl has extensive experience in Drupal development, having worked at inRESONANCE from July 2016 to January 2020 and at Acquia from November 2014 to May 2015. Additional roles include CMS engineer at Breakthrough Technologies, web developer at McKenzieWagner, virtual member service representative at Rivermark Community Credit Union, and intern at the Drupal Association. Carl began a career in technology as a product support specialist at Garmin International from 2010 to 2012. Carl holds an Associate's degree in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design from Portland Community College, attended Chemeketa Community College from 2001 to 2003, and boasts a solid foundation in multimedia design.
