Eva Blixseth

Eva Blixseth, Ed.D., currently serves as an Instructor at the UW Center For Continuing Education in Rehabilitation, providing virtual training for Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals regarding vocational considerations for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Eva has extensive experience as a Lead Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the State of Oregon since May 2021, focusing on career counseling, case management, and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. Previous roles include Employment & Campus Inclusion Coordinator at Portland State University, Oregon Needs Assessor/Service Coordinator for Clackamas County, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Oregon. Eva holds advanced degrees in Educational Leadership from Portland State University and Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies and an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies.
