Matt Shearer

Matt Shearer has extensive experience in IT management and consultancy, with a current role as Data Management Services Manager and IT Business Continuity Manager for the State of Oregon since September 2014. In these positions, Matt oversees the Business Continuity and Backup/Recovery teams at the State Data Center, collaborating with agency leadership to develop strategies that ensure minimal disruption to business services during interruptions. Previous roles include Windows Computing Manager and Business Relationship Manager in self-employment since 1998, as well as Sr. Helpdesk Admin and Systems Manager at FEI Company. Matt's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Portland State University and an Associate of Science from Portland Community College.
