Stepha Dragoon

Stepha Dragoon currently serves as the Rural Population Health Program Manager at the Oregon Office of Rural Health, leading initiatives to improve population health in rural Oregon since December 2021. Additionally, Dragoon works as a Telehealth Representative for the Oregon Broadband Advisory Council. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault at The University of Texas at Austin, where research focused on sexual assault and domestic violence, and as an Age-Friendly Austin Program Intern with the City of Austin Public Health. Other notable positions include Lead Consultant for the Longhorn Impact Fellowship at Texas McCombs, CONNECT Consulting Fellow at the RGK Center, and a Strategic Initiatives Graduate Intern at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. Dragoon’s background also encompasses case management for veterans at Caritas of Austin and recruitment management in healthcare. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Affairs and a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Critical Theory & Social Justice from Occidental College.
