Daren Rasmussen

Daren Rasmussen has extensive experience in environmental science, currently serving as an Environmental Scientist focused on Dam Safety and Stream Alterations at the State of Utah Department of Natural Resources Division of Water Rights since February 1995. This role includes responsibilities such as inspections, research, application processing, reporting, and enforcement. Prior work experience includes a part-time position as a GIS Technician at Salt Lake City Corporation, and roles in various capacities, including Chauffeur for Bonneville Limo and Lab/Production Manager at Revitalice. Daren also volunteered as an LDS Church Representative in Germany, where fluency in the language was achieved. Daren's educational background includes a BS/BA in Geology, Hydrogeology Engineering, Anthropology, Archaeology, German, and GIS/Information Science from Utah State University, and an AA in Mechanical Engineering and German from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
