Jacob Hart

Jacob Hart is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in both public service and private practice. Since August 2015, Jacob has served as the Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce for the State of Utah, having previously held the position of Analyst in the Division of Consumer Protection. Prior to this, Jacob worked as Corporate Counsel at Mystery Escape Room and as an Attorney at OL Private Counsel. Jacob's legal career also includes significant roles as a Commercial Litigation Attorney at Johnstun Law, LLC, and as a Law Clerk at several firms, including Ascione and Associates and Howard Lewis & Petersen, PC. Academic qualifications include a JD from BYU Law School and a BS in Economics from Brigham Young University. Jacob has also contributed to education as an ACT Science Reasoning Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University.
