Umair Ahmed

Umair Ahmed serves as the Development Section Chief at the State of Wisconsin since October 2024, overseeing the development staff for Finance, Procurement, HR, and Payroll applications within the STAR Program Office. Prior to this role, Umair spent over two decades at Oracular as a Senior PeopleSoft Consultant, where responsibilities included assisting clients with the implementation and upgrading of PeopleSoft ERP systems, conducting design sessions, documenting user stories, and analyzing business processes to deliver effective solutions while ensuring compliance with service level agreements and governance standards. Umair holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, earned between 1999 and 2003.
