Suleyman Gasimov

Suleyman Gasimov has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, having held various senior leadership roles at the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) since May 2003, including Advisor to the President, Vice-President on Economic Affairs, Head of Finance Department, and Deputy Head of Finance Department. Additionally, Suleyman Gasimov serves as an Executive Board Member at SOCAR Energy Ukraine, SOCAR Polymer, and has chaired the boards of SOCAR Capital and Petkim. Academic contributions include a professorship at The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and expertise at The High Attestation Commission. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Education (Economics) from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
