Ben Wilterdink

Ben Wilterdink is a seasoned policy professional with extensive experience in tax and fiscal policy at both state and federal levels. As the current Director of Policy Initiatives at the State Policy Network since February 2024, Ben focuses on educating state legislators on relevant tax and fiscal matters. Previously, Ben served in various roles at the Archbridge Institute from April 2017 to February 2024, including Director of Programs and Outreach and Policy Research. Ben's background also includes positions as Editor In Chief at Catalyst and Director of Commerce, Insurance, and Economic Development at ALEC, where research and policy efforts were directed toward legislative impacts. Ben began the career with a foundation in policy research at Americans for Tax Reform and managerial training with the Charles Koch Institute. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Liberty University.
