Maggie E. Oliver

Maggie E. Oliver has extensive experience in various roles related to government affairs, communications, and event management. Maggie E. is currently serving as the Vice President at Alabama Port Authority, where they began in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Internal & External Affairs at Alabama Port Authority from February to September 2022.

Before joining Alabama Port Authority, Maggie held the position of Senior Director of Government Affairs at Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce from September 2018 to February 2022. Maggie E. also served as the Communications Director at the U.S. House of Representatives, where they worked from 2017 to 2018.

Maggie has experience in organizing special events, as seen in their role as Special Events Support at the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) from December 2016 to January 2017, where they executed events surrounding the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump.

In their earlier career, Maggie worked at American Action Network and Congressional Leadership Fund as the Communications Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the President from 2015 to 2017. Maggie E. also worked at NAHU (National Association of Health Underwriters) as the Manager of State Affairs from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on advancing the interests of health insurance professionals and promoting affordable health insurance solutions. Maggie E.'sresponsibilities included policy research and execution, member and government relations, and strategic outreach to Members of Congress. Maggie also contributed to NAHU's publications and grassroots campaigns.

Maggie E. Oliver earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Policy and Leadership, Political Science from the University of Mississippi in 2012. Maggie E. went on to complete a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University in 2016.
