James MacRi

James Macri has extensive experience in venue management and operational oversight, currently serving as the Venue Response Team Leader at State Sport Centres since November 2019. In this role, James is responsible for managing the Venue Response Team, incident management systems, and overall site operations. Previously, James held positions such as Duty Manager and Aquatic Operations Supervisor, demonstrating strong leadership and customer service skills. With experience as a Swimming Coach and Instructor, James has also contributed to the development of youth programs and aquatic safety. Additionally, James has served as a Fire Warden for the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and has a solid foundation in community engagement, having worked with the City of Monash and the Victorian Amateur Football Association. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Science from Deakin University.
