Andrew Xiao

Andrew Xiao is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and equity research. Currently serving as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for China Equity at State Street Global Advisors since July 2016, Andrew also co-manages Emerging Markets Equity. Prior to this role, Andrew held several prominent positions at GE Asset Management, including Senior Portfolio Manager for China Equities, and spent time at Morgan Stanley Investment Management as Vice President and Analyst. Andrew's career began at IBM Watson Research Center and Intel, where roles included Research Staff Member and Senior Engineer, respectively. An alumnus of Princeton University, Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
